Mar 1, 2006 12:28 PM

Visteon Corporation has won a contract to supply XM Satellite Radio systems on Hyundai Motor America's Sonata. Hyundai is adding standard XM Satellite Radio to its full vehicle lineup.

Among the Visteon content on the Sonata is Visteon's AM/FM/single CD player/radio. Visteon also supplies cockpit modules on the Hyundai Santa Fe, Tiburon and Elantra models; instrument panels on the Sonata, and Accent models; and climate systems on the Santa Fe and Sonata. The cockpit modules and instrument panels are produced by Visteon's interior joint venture Duck Yang Industry Co. Ltd., while the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems are produced by Visteon's climate systems affiliate, Halla Climate Control Corp., both located in South Korea.
