LeCroy scope decodes CAN serial data Apr 27, 2006 4:10 PM A vehicle bus analyzer from LeCroy Corporation is said to decode controller area network (CAN) serial data into application layer text, thus providing engineers with a full range of CAN protocol stack information (symbolic, hex and electrical signal) and with the ability to view additional in-circuit electrical signals that influence the CAN bus, such as sensor inputs, voltage levels, and transients. Up to four different CAN buses can be decoded at once. |
