Jaguar XK 2007 cabriolet and coupé models will be fitted with mechatronic center console units developed by Delphi Corp. The one-piece instrument control panel, with a centrally mounted touchscreen, allows for intuitive selection of climate, audio, navigation, telephone and vehicle personalization settings. The molded panel also includes a second set of controls for the XK's climate control system, CD loader and player and stereo. The console uses a CAN serial bus used for high-speed data transmission.
