Delphi Grundig has introduced the HFK200, a Bluetooth hands-free set consisting of a black box, a microphone, and a control button that can be positioned anywhere within a driver's reach. The system answers telephone calls automatically, transmitting via a vehicle’s sound system loudspeakers. It mutes the car radio when a call is received and resets the radio to the original volume after the call has finished, without the driver having to take his/her hands off the steering wheel. A voice-recognition function can be used to dial numbers stored in the mobile phone and the control button can be used to adjust sound, activate/deactivate the mobile phone, manage voicemail, and configure keywords for faster operation and dialing.

Delphi Grundig, created from Delphi’s 2003 acquisition of Grundig Car Intermedia System, plans to focus on safety systems, parking aids and hand-free products. The unit will incorporate the former Delphi Product & Service Solutions division in Europe, according to Michael Boe, European business line director, consumer electronics.
