IPextreme IP cores support Mentor Graphics’ Precision Synthesis FPGA Tool

Jan 22, 2009 2:13 PM

Intellectual property marketer IPextreme has validated its Multi-CAN Controller, CJTAG-IEEE1149.7 IP cores, and 32-bit Power Architecture processor cores for use with Mentor Graphics Precision Synthesis flow. The Power Architecture cores include the e200, V1 ColdFire, V2 ColdFire, and 16-bit CR16CP, as well as the 8-bit Freescale HCS08.

“IPextreme has a large catalog of silicon-proven, synthesizable FPGA cores,” said Daniel Platzker, product line director of FPGA synthesis at Mentor Graphics. “Mentor delivers a vendor-independent FPGA design flow, and compatibility between Precision Synthesis and the IPextreme cores ensures success for mutual customers.”
