Fleet solutions provider Automotive Resources International is partnering with wireless vehicle management specialist Networkcar to develop a wireless system for ARI customers to monitor the performance and location of fleet vehicles.

The system integrates telematics and fleet management data through ARI insights, a web-based car and truck-fleet management system. The solution is said to merge patented remote diagnostic technology with GPS-based automatic vehicle location technology to provide up-to-the-minute status on vehicle location and engine diagnostics. It's intended to reduce fleet operating costs.
