Cypress Semiconductor has joined the Embedded Microprocessor Benchmark Consortium as a member of the consortium’s work group focused on developing multicore and system-level benchmarks for automotive/industrial applications.

EEMBC benchmarks now under development will address multicore processor implementations and the impact on performance of buses, peripherals, memory, operating systems, software drivers, and auto-code generators.
