Cranes Software acquires Engineering Technology Associates Jan 17, 2008 2:02 PM Cranes Software International Ltd., a developer of enterprise statistical analytics and engineering simulation software, has acquired Engineering Technology Associates, an automotive consulting and product development firm focused on safety, vibration and noise testing. Cranes said the acquisition represents the company’s entry into the Chinese automotive market. Engineering Technology has an advanced design and product development center in China. Cranes managing director Asif Khader says the acquisition will enable Cranes to leverage its core design testing, virtual simulation and product design skills across a broader range of engineering needs to serve the high growth-oriented emerging Asian economies.” |
