Behr-Hella Thermocontrol Inc., a joint-venture company formed by Behr and Hella, has developed a passenger-car solar sensor for a major OEM. The sensor detects the amount of thermal radiation that a vehicle is exposed to, thus allowing the vehicle’s HVAC control system to better regulate the vehicle's interior temperature.
