KEMET Corporation has added voltage and capacitance extensions to its commercial X5R ceramic surface-mount portfolio. New releases offer capacitance ranges from 1.2 microfarads to 22 microfarads in 0603, 0805 and 1206 EIA case sizes with 10-V ratings. The components provide circuit functions such as decoupling and output filtering in automotive, as well as power supply and computer applications.

The newest capacitance values are available in X5R dielectric and in K (±10%) and M (±20%) tolerances. The parts comply with RoHS legislation.
