Mentor Graphics has taken over the Swedish corporation Volcano Communications Technologies AB. The takeover also included the entire “Automotive Networking Series” product line, part of which consists of software for the design of communication networks and embedded software, as well as test and validation tools for all important automobile networks. VCT is a Premium Member of AUTOSAR and actively supports the development of the open network communication standard for the motor vehicle industry.

Under Mentor Graphics, the VCT product lines will also be consistently refined and supported.
